Good food. Fish could had done with a few more minutes as batter was slightly soggy tasting, very nice homemade chips. Good prices for beer. Friendly staff. Interesting decor. Would return if in area again. And would recommend :)
Sunday lunch was good. Vegetables were well cooked, tasty and well seasoned. Regrettably roast lamb main was tough and gristly, two elements of the dessert were missing but added on request; worth the wait. Staff friendly and helpful. Going for a second visit.
Pub accommodation with a difference! Each room has a theme. We stayed in the blue room, lovely and quiet overlooking the churchyard. Nice and comfy, in a pretty village. Good beer, the evening meal we had was top class. Breakfast in the morning was lovely too. The management and staff were very helpful, friendly and supportive. Highly recommended.
Lovely stay room was clean and tidy bed was comfortable. Friendly welcome by Sam who served us breakfast was very helpful & professional a credit to the business. Will definitely be staying again & maybe have dinner next time. Highly recommend.
A table for four and we all had an excellent meal. The service was perfect; just the right level of attention. The food was brilliant .my rib eye was done just as i wanted. The seared tuna also done just right. A great wine list too. We will become regulars!
Stayed one night but would have been happy staying longer. The hotel/pub and rooms are immaculate and really enjoyed the decor and colours. Food was yummy at dinner and an even better breakfast. Only bad side was our room was facing the main road and our room was directly above a speaker for the restaurant but I think this was turned off at 10 which was good. (However I slept really well! The bed and pillows were perfect) Really nice to have extra tea/coffee supplies down the hall. And we appreciated a face flannel provided. Staff were lovely too. Highly recommended and would stay again.
Absolutely fabulous! Beautiful rooms. The most comfy bed I have slept in for a long time. Gorgeous decor throughout. A real gem of a genuinely boutique hotel. We'll worth going out of your way for a visit.
